In this life so full of care
There's little time to think of prayer
Because we live life at a run,
But there's an answer - get a nun!
"Adopt-A-Sister" is what you do,
Each day she'll say a prayer for you,
Or your pet, or someone dear -
For just a hundred bucks a year.
The idea was to raise some funds
To build a home for older nuns
By doing what they all do best.
But soon they'll need their home of rest
For the service is a real success,
And while your worries may be less
The Salesian Sisters of St. John
Will soon be praying all day long.
